I only really got into makeup properly around a year ago, I wore it but I was never into it so I only really learnt about makeup brushes recently and even then I was still using sponges (which applied everything awfully but I never knew!). I bought my first makeup brushes a couple of months ago and I'm so glad I did!
First of all I bought the Real Techniques Core Collection, it was the best decision of my life! I've realised how awful my foundation looked applied with a sponge and now that I use brushes it's even and blended so I don't look like a patchy orange!
I stuck with Real Techniques because they're amazing brushes and everyone reviews them well, so I bought the Eye Starter Collection, the Powder Brush and a Multi Purpose Brush too! Although I haven't used any other brushes so I have nothing to compare them to, I still believe Real Techniques are amazing brushes and they don't have a massive price tag too!
Everyday I only use some of the brushes because I don't need some of them and others I think are quite pointless!
