My makeup routine never really changes, I haven't bought any products that have changed my routine that much over the past few months, I haven't really bought any makeup over the past few months coming to think of it, what's wrong with me?! It's only recently that I've come into having a set routine of what I wear everyday with only a few slight changes daily depending on how I feel.
On a normal day, I start off by applying the Maybelline Baby Skin Primer, I find this is a greasy primer on first application but after a minute or two it's sunk into the skin completely and feels smooth and soft.
Secondly, I apply foundation, I'm currently using Rimmel's Match Perfection, it's a low coverage foundation which feels very lightweight on the skin so it's perfect for the summer weather when it's hot and you don't want to wear a lot!
Then I apply concealer, I'm currently using the same concealer as about 80% of bloggers! I'm using the Collection 2000 concealer, I haven't found a better concealer considering the price tag of under £5, it's amazing, it's high coverage and really covers dark circles and blemishes.
I leave all my foundation and concealer to sink in a little bit before I powder so next I move onto eyes! I use the Heaven and Earth Palette by MUA usually, it's my favourite palette and it's a great dupe for the Naked palettes! As you can see I usually use the colour that has hit pan as a base, but if I'm going all out I'll use the top left white colour in my inner corner and the colour next to my base shadow in the crease and blend it.It's such an easy palette to find combinations with so the colours I use can vary.
Powder comes next! I use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder!
Then I apply eyeliner, I use the ELF Gel Eyeliner, it's so easy to apply, I'm so glad I bought it because it's made applying eyeliner so much less time consuming as it's easier to get it equal or slightly equal, I can't ever get it equal so what's the point trying, haha!
Mascara comes next, I use the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes and Maybelline's The Falsies! They're both great mascaras and I'd never look away from the drugstore when buying a mascara because they have so many good ones to offer! Both these mascaras apply an even coating without clumping lashes together.
