Over the past few weeks I've been a little stuck for inspiration and time to write blog posts I'm actually happy to publish, so, I decided to create a little series that I'll post weekly to help keep up with blogging regularly! This series will be full of all my high end lusts, with a different section every week.
I thought I'd start at the base of it all, with my pick of the foundations I've been wanting to try for a while. The only reason that I haven't bought these foundations is because I don't live close enough to counters to get colour matched which is so annoying, but I'm travelling more this year and will definitely find somewhere to pick these up! Now on to my picks;
First on my list is NARS Sheer Glow, this foundation is rocking the beauty world like no other, all I see is good reviews about it, I really don't think I've read a bad review! I am in desperate need of a foundation that will give me that healthy glow that I lack due to not sleeping and eating crap, but I think I've spotted something that will give me back my glow!
Second is Estee Lauder Double Wear, from the reviews I've read this foundation gives a good coverage but is also very buildable without looking cakey, which is great for me as I have days where I don't need much foundation but other days my face is full of redness due to being very very pink skinned so I need something that can deal with both days, Double Wear sounds like the one!
Third is Mac Studio Fix Fluid, this is a foundation I'd love to try but I've also read some pretty bad reviews about it as it can make you look cakey which is something that nobody wants! I'm sure I will pick up this foundation due to it's high coverage that I love during the winter months due to again being pink skinned which is a lot worse during the colder seasons.
The last foundation on my list is Naked Skin by Urban Decay, I only heard about this foundation recently but from what I've heard it's a 'holy grail foundation'. Everyone wants a flawless finish without having to cake your face in makeup, and this foundation claims to have a buildable coverage with a lightweight finish, so who could say no to that?
The other reason that I'd love to try all these foundations is because they're the very few that actually do a shade light enough for me, I have a nightmare trying to find a good foundation due to having pale skin, it's such a pain.
What's your favourite high end foundation?
