This is my penultimate favourites of the month for 2015, I know I said it yesterday but seriously where has this year gone?! Saying that I cannot wait for it to be over because it's been the best/worst year of my life and I don't want to think about it at all anymore. Bring on 2016, but first I'm coming to you with my November favourites!
November was a month for discovering old favourites, and making some new ones. Kicking off my favourites is the Antipodes Rejoice Light Daily Face Cream*, yes this was in my October Favourites as well, I just can't get enough of it, I won't go on about it but you can read my post about it here. Next up is something I actually included in a post yesterday, oops I have a habit for repeating myself, it's Raspberry by Barry M, which has been my go to nail varnish all month, I've only just taken it off! You can read all about Raspberry and my other top nail varnishes for Winter here.
Maybelline Colour Tattoos have made their way back into my makeup routine and not just for my eyes this time! Although I have been loving On and On Bronze for my lids, it's such a beautiful colour, it's easy to apply and it really lasts all day. Creamy Beige is from the Leather Effect collection, so it's completely matte and I have found it to be a perfect colour to do my eyebrows with. I was just messing around one day as I wanted to try out a new brow product before I bought the ABH Dip Brow, so I was just trailing the Creamy Beige shade to see what my brows would look like and it works perfectly. It can be a little dark so a lighter hand is key but it's seriously changed my brow routine for the better, I still use a powder with it to lighten the look though.
Another thing I've been trying to mix up a bit is my contour routine, I tried cream contouring and it's safe to say it didn't go particularly well so I've opted to go back to powder contour and I've finally found something that works so well on my skin. I briefly tried the Seventeen Contour Kit* a month or so ago when I first got it and I loved it, and then I shoved it in a drawer due to not contouring for a few weeks (I'm lazy). I went to a gig a few weeks ago and I wanted to go all out and this was the first contour product I picked out and I have used it everyday since, it's a dream to blend into the skin and it's the perfect shade for my pale skin, not too orange at all. It looks natural, and it can be applied lightly or built up to your desired look. The highlighting powder shade works wonders under my eyes and on my forehead too, it really helps to set my makeup which is a bonus!
My last favourite comes from The Library of Fragrance, which is a brand that seem to be everywhere at the moment and I can definitely see, and smell why. They sent me out a few of their scents to try and I have fallen head over heels in love with Hawaiian Vanilla*. If you know me you'll know I'm a sucker for anything vanilla, but this is on another level. I'm never usually a fan of vanilla scents because they don't live up to my expectations of the scent but this one has completely changed that. It is my perfect scent, I love keeping it in my bag and just topping up the scent every now and then. I'm not going to lie it doesn't last a massive amount of time, but it lasts long enough and the undertones really stick to your skin so you can still smell it throughout the day.
What have been your favourites throughout November?
